Who is NORMA HOLT?

Norma is an Australian grandmother who holds an honours degree in archaeology and anthropology and who has worked consistently towards uncovering the origin of language. She is an author/publisher and the webmaster of several domains. During her life she has been actively engaged in politics, environmental issues, and has worked tirelessly to help the underpriviliged and in the formation and success of some major charities, including the Smith Family. Norma has worked consistently in marketing most of her life. She began in Real Estate when land in Australia was selling for ridiculous prices, sometimes as low as $50 a block, and that is not so long ago. Its widely used and so are other tricks like the word FREE. This has become the biggest lie on the Internet. As soon as you go to a site advertising something for nothing you find you have to buy somehting else to get it. Another slippery slope.

Norma makes sales by being honest and trustworthy and attracting a different type of person. She searches for the one who is looking for a genuine product that stacks uip and will be around for a long time. There is no price gimmick with any of her offers. They are there, stable and always.

When you buy land for a home it has to suit your needs and Norma studied those needs and matched people to areas. Consequently she outsold all her colleagues and won every sales competition in every company she worked for. In the end Companies vied for her services but she left Real Estate and ventured into other areas of commerce to gain wide experience in all aspects of marketing.

She opened a business using her abilities as a designer and planner and was soon employing some 20 people in her landscaping and garden maintenance enterprise as well as her retail shop that marketed a wide range of products from tropical fish to flowers, landscaping accessories and general merchandise. Without any previous experience her business took off and she was so successful she had people like Professor Waterhouse, who introduced camellias to Australia and established the biggest Camellia Nursery in St.Ives, asking her to become joint partners with them.

Everything she does in business or elsewhere is based on three main principles, honesty, quality and presentation. According to her philosophy if you cannot fulfill those things then don't go into business or, for that matter, attempt anything because you will eventually fail.

Norma believes you can pick people by the words they speak. Mannerism, energy and background ooze from mouths like snapshots of character, willingness to please, and motivation. She wants happiness to come from within not from an outside source. She wants people to try and to put their goals ahead of their dreams.
